Hotel Location
Located right in the center of Bangkok, is a brand new, 3-star hotel, "THE ECOTEL BANGKOK". To get to other parts of the city, apart from public transport and taxis, one can use the BTS sky train or the MRT subway network. Stations of both are within short distance from the hotel. In short, guests have easy access to all points of the city from the hotel.
In addition, soon to open is the new Airport Rail Link and Air Terminal, which is only a few minutes from the hotel. The Terminal provides check-in facilities for travelers; and after checking-in, guests can conveniently go straight to Suvarnbhumi International Airport from MAKKASAN STATION by either express train (15 minutes), or commuter train (30 minutes).
Also within close proximity are many first-class hospitals frequented by foreign visitors, such as Bamrungrad International Hospital, Bangkok International Hospital, Samitivej Hospital and BNH Hospital.
How to get to the hotel :
- Take the New Petchburi Road Soi 35, turn left, then go straight for approximately 80 meters. The Ecotel Bangkok is on your left.
- From the Central World Plaza, head for Pratunam (a few minutes by car) then turn right onto New Petchburi Road. Watch for Soi 35 on the left, turn into the Soi, then follow (1).
- Take Sri Ayuthaya Road until the end at Makkasan Junction, turn right, and immediately after the railroad track, turn left and head for Metro Center on the right side of the road. Turn left at the second checkpoint into Soi 35, then follow (1).
- From Don Muang Airprt, once reaching the end of Vibhavadi Rangsit Express Way (Din Dang), take the short cut underneath the sky way to the open way-out, turn left. After a few minutes, make a U-turn heading for Rajprarob Road. Then follow (3) from the railroad track onwards.
